In the town of Murvica is also the Dragon's Cave The Dragon's Cave is a first-class monument of the monastic life of a Glagolitic priest from the fifteenth century. It is located near the small town of Murvica, and territorially belongs to the municipality of Nerezisca. It was used as a dwelling place and a temple of Polish Glagolitic people who chose it to spend their religious life there, reconciling two separate traditions - Christian and pagan. To this day, Slavic myths about werewolves, fairies, witches and seas have persisted, as well as about Orkomarin, a one-eyed giant living in a cave. It is this combination of different beliefs and superstitions that is shown in the relief that the cave was named after.
The Drac harbor and Blaca desert are also located. The Blaca desert is located on the south side of the island of Brac, between Bol and Milna. It was founded in the 16th century, when Glagolitic priests from Poland came here. Namely, they were fleeing the Ottoman army, which during that time was trying to conquer as much of the Dalmatian coast as possible. The escaped priests found their shelter in a stone-enclosed cave. They first worked on cultivating land, from which they lived, and over time obtained permission to build a monastery and church. The basic cave was first added to the original cave such as the basement, kitchen and various stoves. The church was built in 1588, and later a monastery was built, but also, during that time, magnificent multi-storey buildings.
Also, just 7 km from Murvica is Bol, which houses the Golden Cape, probably the most famous beach on the Adriatic, located in Bol, on the southern coast of the island of Brac. Due to its unusual nature and beauty, it is one of the most famous symbols of Croatian tourism.
The beach is special in that it changes shape and location, depending on the wind blowing.

The picturesque village of Murvica not far from Bol is situated on the very cliff of the island, surrounded by neatly tilled vineyards where the grapevines grow even on less accessible areas, all thanks to the hard-working valuable hands of the local land workers. When you are already in Murvica, besides enjoying the beautiful landscape of island Brač, you must visit the nearby Dragon's cave and the Dračeva luka cove, containing remains of monastic settlements dating back to the 15th century. The picturesque shingle beaches in its very vicinity lure the visitors into the water and are amongst the most beautiful beaches in this area of the Brač coastline.
