Description
Holiday House Art Bol is an authentic Dalmatian stone house, renovated to preserve as much as possible from the original historic materials and designs of the house, including furniture, decorations and various handcrafted objects, with a view of preserving the charm of the traditional Dalmatian stone architecture. From the inside, the house walls are rough, angles crooked, floors uneven, and the stairs and the structures between floors made of wood. All these imperfections make this house beautiful and unique. The house has nevertheless been fully modernised to keep up with 21st century comforts: the kitchen and the bathroom have been fully renovated, and the Wi-Fi, SmartTV and an air conditioner have been installed. As the owners are art enthusiasts, the house is decorated with outstanding and original Croatian modern and contemporary art. Each piece of art is carefully selected and placed for your delight. On the upper floor, the house offers two double and one triple bedroom. The ground floor features a kitchen with a dining area, lounge room with two sofa beds, two bathrooms and a a beautiful patio. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan and the ground floor corridor in addition offers an air conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped, incl. a dishwasher, kettle, microwave and an oven. Thick stone walls of the house provide for an intimate and private atmosphere and along with double-paned windows ensure excellent isolation. During the hot nights the ceiling fans will be more than sufficient, providing a gently breeze all night long. If the day is too hot to enjoy the patio, a spacious backyard is available for your use – enjoy a swing or the fresh figs right from the tree and a barbecue. The location of the Holiday House Art is very central, close to all amenities you may need. The nearest beach is only 40m away. Bakeries, butchers, grocery shops, the waterfront, the spectacular Stina winery, a bank, a cultural centre, restaurants, a pharmacy, historic churches, and basically anything else you may need during your stay can be found within an area of 100m.
